The best benefit of subscribing to Peacock in the fall is that Universal Pictures’ summer movie lineup finds its way into your home just in time for the colder weather.
While Bob Odenkirk‘s action thriller sequel, Nobody 2, didn’t light up the box office as well as the first film, it’s still very enjoyable.

‘Nobody 2’ (2025)
Don’t let his dad body fool you. Hutch Mansell (Bob Odenkirk) is as tough as they come in Nobody 2, even though his work as an assassin is really weighing down on his wife, Becca Mansell (Connie Nielsen), and their children, Brady (Gage Munroe) and Sammy (Paisley Cadorath). The family’s theme park vacation was meant to be a break for all of them, especially Hutch. But he just can’t seem to avoid getting into trouble.
While defending his children from bullies, Hutch angers the theme park owner Wyatt Martin (John Ortiz), a corrupt sheriff, Abel (Colin Hanks), and a crime lord, Lendina (Sharon Stone). Hutch is warned to leave this increasingly unhappy kingdom before it’s too late. But these jerks messed with his kids, and that means it’s already too late — for them.

‘How to Train Your Dragon’ (2025)
One of the most impressive things about the remake of DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon is how it successfully takes the animated designs for the dragons and largely maintains their physical characteristics while also seeming real enough to convincingly exist side-by-side with the live-action characters. Dragons were always make-believe creatures, but they look believable in this film.

The story follows Hiccup (Mason Thames), the son of a Viking chief, Stoick the Vast (Gerard Butler). Hiccup’s not really cut out to be a warrior like his father, but he’s made a discovery that could change the world. After befriending a wounded dragon he calls Toothless, Hiccup figures out that dragons can be trained and tamed. However, Stoick’s hatred for dragons may blind him to the truth about these creatures.

‘Now You See Me’ (2013)
Since the third film in the franchise, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, is out in theaters this weekend, there’s never been a better time to revisit the very first film in the franchise. Now You See Me introduces a group of magicians who call themselves the Four Horsemen: J. Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg), Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson), Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher) and Jack Wilder (Dave Franco).
One year ago, the Horsemen were simply illusionists. Now, they’re armed with an array of high-tech illusions that have seemingly allowed them to rob a bank on stage in full view of the crowd without being caught in the act. FBI agent Dylan Rhodes (Mark Ruffalo) is baffled by this turn of events and unable to convict the Horsemen of anything. That’s why he turns to Thaddeus Bradley (Morgan Freeman), a former magician who delights in exposing the deepest tricks of magic as mere illusions. If he can crack the Horsemen’s act, then the team won’t have anywhere to run to.
