Kylie Jenner and boyfriend Timothée Chalamet are “still very much together and committed” despite the actor’s absence at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday bash over the weekend.
“Timothée wasn’t at Kris’ party because he is filming two huge projects right now and is working,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “He has been on set for Dune, but he and Kylie FaceTime every day.”
The insider notes that “it is very serious” between Kylie, 28, and Chalamet, 29, who were first linked in 2023.
“Everyone adores them together and he has even been present in the kids’ lives, which makes Kylie so happy,” the source adds, referring to Kylie’s daughter, Stormi, 7, and her son Aire, 3, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Travis Scott.
How Timothee Chalamet Made Kylie Jenner’s B-Day ‘Special’ From Miles Away
Despite spending time apart while Chalamet is on location, the source tells Us, “Everything is going well and Kylie respects that he is working really hard right now and having a huge moment in his career.”
The Kardashians star, who is a reality star and businesswoman herself, “doesn’t mind” that she and Chalamet “keep their relationship private,” the insider says.
Kylie, who has been in the public eye since she was a child, is OK that the couple “don’t spend every day together” either, according to the source, “because it makes their time together feel more special.”
Why ‘In Love’ Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet Are ‘The Real Deal’
News broke in spring 2023 that Kylie and Chalamet were spending time together after the reality star split from Scott, 34, following the 2022 holidays.
Us confirmed in April 2023 that the pair were an item with a source revealing that Chalamet “is a total gentleman and treats [Kylie] with respect.”
“She enjoys being courted and feels like the more effort he puts in, the more she likes him,” a separate source said at the time, noting that Kylie also “appreciates that he doesn’t feel the need to go super over the top with grand gestures just to impress her.”
The couple’s romance heated up that September when Kylie and Chalamet were spotted packing on the PDA Beyoncé’s birthday concert in Los Angeles before attending the U.S. Open together.
While Kylie was spotted inside the 2024 Golden Globes as Chalamet’s date and as his plus 1 at the 2025 Oscars, they didn’t make their red carpet debut together until May for the 70th David Di Donatello at Cinecitta Studios in Rome.
Last month, Kylie was spotted in New York City supporting her boyfriend at the premiere of Marty Supreme. The twosome were seen laughing and smiling at a restaurant together following the New York Film Festival event, according to a video shared by Variety.
