Selling Sunset‘s Chrishell Stause made some startling new claims about Emma Hernan‘s boyfriend, Blake Davis.
“They would break up, and she would tell me these horrific things that he would say to her, that he would do,” Stause, 44, alleged to Bustle in an interview published on Friday, November 7. “He thought it was funny to say, ‘If you ever do that again, I’ll beat you.’ Who jokes about that? It’s not funny.”
Stause also elaborated on her past accusations that Davis used a racial slur and mocked pronouns, saying, “He compared being nonbinary to having a mental illness. He constantly posts anti-trans stuff.”
She continued: “He thinks it’s too woke if you don’t sing the N-word in songs. He posted something the other day, with a gun in view, saying he wants to ‘sue [me for lying] my d*** off.’”
‘Selling Sunset’ Star Emma Hernan and Blake Davis’ Relationship Timeline
Stause has been candid about her dislike for Hernan’s boyfriend since he filmed scenes for season 9 that never made it to air. Davis then made his onscreen debut in season 10, which is when Stause tried to warn Hernan, 33, that he wasn’t the right person for her.
After production on season 10 concluded, Stause and Hernan had a falling out over Davis.
“I was there to help pick her up when they would break up and I would hear all of these horrible things — horrific things. You never want your friend to go back to that. What I can do is extract myself from a situation that is a toxic cycle,” Stause noted on the Wednesday, November 5, reunion. “I can’t get an answer from you and you are lying about things that you are very clearly lying about. You are flaking on your friends and I really take that as a hit to the friendship.”

Hernan stood by her decision to still have Davis in her life. “Who hasn’t dated a guy that your family or friends don’t agree with? I am human and I have feelings. Unfortunately, I made a connection with someone who isn’t the most likable person. There was a conversation that needed to be had,” she explained. “He doesn’t always behave, so that is why I take distance a lot.”
Hernan added: “There have been multiple times where I haven’t spoken to him for two to three months at a time — like, completely ghost. At that moment, I feel like I will never speak to him again and then they will be able to see that I am with him. There’s a bond there. I am not saying he is the person I am going to marry. But I have had three boyfriends and he is the third.”
While at the reunion, Hernan called Stause out for accusing Davis of offensive behavior on social media.
“I don’t think Blake is super appropriate, but what was put online was not how he said it. He never said he was MAGA. He never said his political views,” she fired back. “He never said pronouns are stupid. I don’t agree with a ton of things that he does, but he was trying to relate to Chrishell and he wants people to like him.”
‘Selling Sunset’ Star Emma Hernan’s Boyfriend Blake: What to Know
Stause issued an apology to Hernan but made it clear they couldn’t be friends.
“I am frustrated because I have gotten no accountability from her. I am sorry I put it on social media. What he said, I am sorry I repeated it on social media. I was extremely disappointed that you would still date someone with those views for a year and a half,” she told Hernan. “I tried as hard as I could to be there as a friend for you. Every single action I ever made was out of care and love for you. I just want you to be happy and be cared for by somebody and know how to treat you. I am happy to step back.”
Davis, for his part, has yet to publicly address Stause’s new claims. He previously shared his DMs with Stause from Instagram that showed him sending several messages to her.
“Hope you know that I do love you very much and support you and very proud of you and all of your success and your wonderful relationship and support to my GF,” he allegedly wrote in November 2024. “I knew we disagree on things and that’s ok but I do think very highly of you. I really do pray that one day we can have a great friendship. Happy holidays and I hope many blessings [come] to you and your family/friends!!!”
