There is nothing strange going on between Stranger Things costars Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour despite recent claims of on-set issues between the actors.
Extra caught up with Brown, 21, at the world premiere of Stranger Things season 5 on Thursday, November 6, where the actress gushed over her on-screen dad.
“It’s been amazing,” Brown said of reuniting with Harbour, 50, on the red carpet. “We’re so lucky to have each other. The show means so much to the both of us, and to everyone here. This has been the last 10 years of our lives.”
Brown, who has played telepathic protagonist Eleven on the hit Netflix show since it debuted in 2016, also reflected on the show’s decade-long journey. Brown was just 10 when production began on the first season.

“I’ve been living every day like it’s the first day on set,” she said. “And maybe that’s what’s made me hold onto every moment for dear life.”
Brown and Harbour appeared to shut down rumors of problems between them when they hit the red carpet together Thursday night at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
In a video shared by the Netflix and Stranger Things’ Instagram accounts, the stars were seen hugging and joking around on the red carpet as they posed for photographs and talked to fans.
The united front comes after the Daily Mail claimed on Saturday, November 1, that Brown “filed a harassment and bullying claim” against Harbour “before they started shooting the last season.”

Us Weekly previously reached out to Brown, Harbour and Netflix for comment but did not hear back. None of the parties have publicly commented on the allegations.
Harbour, for his part, recently praised Brown and his younger costars, many of whom were preteens or teenagers when the show began, in an interview with Esquire Spain.
“They’re all pretty good kids. Maybe it’s just because I’m sober, I’m sure everyone’s doing them, but it just feels like kids are not as substance-abusive as my generation was,” Harbour said of his bonds with Brown and company. “One of the real ropes to hang on to in this business for me has been the artistry of what you’re doing.”
“I think the problem with young fame is that it’s very exciting, you know? It’s very exciting to have people think you’re a genius, but you don’t really want to be a genius at 11 years old,” he continued. “Any sort of protégé… I mean, look at what happened to Mozart or whatever. It’s not a long life. I would love to see Gaten [Matarazzo] play King Lear when he’s 70 years old, I would like to see those kinds of careers out of them. And that’s my own selfish desire for them to explore their artistry and their instruments to the fullest of their potential. I do think it’s the sanest way to approach this business.”
Harbour also admitted to feeling paternal over his costars as they navigate their careers post-Stranger Things.
“I would get very worried for them, but as any parent knows, it’s hopeless and nothing works. You just offer what you can and then watch, and you’re just there for them if they need you,” he explained. “That’s where I discovered my place for them. I’m always here to help them out, but they’re on their own path. It’s a wild path, but they all seem to be doing great.”
