
TOPSHAM, Maine (WGME) — The Sagadahoc County Emergency Management Agency says the two 7-year-old girls who went missing from a Topsham elementary school have been found and they are safe.
MSAD 75 Superintendent Heidi O’Leary says the two second-grade students went missing on Thursday morning.
The girls were seen on the Woodside Elementary School playground at about 10:45 a.m. Thursday, according to O’Leary.
The Sagadahoc County Emergency Management Agency says they left the school on foot.
The girls were found on Thursday afternoon and were safely returned.
