Chrishell Stause is clapping back at former BFF Emma Hernan after she defended her boyfriend, Blake Davis, amid the trio’s ongoing feud.
“This is NOT what was said,” Chrishell, 44, wrote via her Instagram Story on Tuesday, November 4, referring to Emma’s claims regarding Blake and his alleged remarks about Chrishell’s partner, G Flip.
Chrishell quipped, “But good job Emma in flaming the hate for my partner and their preferred pronoun use.”
Chrishell’s remarks are directly related to Emma’s exclusive interview with Us Weekly, in which she claimed that Blake “did not say that pronouns were dumb” during a past conversation with Chrishell about G Flip, who is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns.

“He accidentally said ‘wife’ [about G Flip]. When he said ‘wife,’ I told him and I explained it, and it was the first time he was learning about it and he was trying to be good,” Emma, 33, told Us on Tuesday. “This was also two years ago. This wasn’t like a recent thing. This was two years ago and I corrected him, because I knew I wanted to be sensitive.”
Emma explained, “I’m super sensitive about the situation, so I corrected him and he said, ‘Oh, my bad. We’re from the south and we don’t really do it there.’ That’s exactly what was said.”
Emma noted that Blake’s alleged misuse of “wife” is what caused tension between her boyfriend and Chrishell while simultaneously adding to her own, preexisting issues with Chrishell. (Chrishell has been vocal about not approving of Emma dating Blake.)
“It rubbed Chrishell the wrong way, and she’s protective of G and she’s an amazing person, so I don’t blame her for that,” Emma told Us of Chrishell’s reaction. “But he didn’t mean anything by it. He did not say pronouns are dumb or [were] stupid. I was right there.”
Once Emma’s video interview was published via social media on Tuesday, Chrishell fired back, claiming Emma didn’t tell the full story. She also defended her own approach to correcting people over G Flip’s pronouns.

“I have never gotten mad if someone politely got G’s pronouns wrong. It happens all the time and I gently correct and we move on,” Chrishell wrote via social media.
Chrishell revealed she planned to “wait and see what airs” during the season 9 reunion of Selling Sunset before “fully responding” to Emma’s remarks. (Season 9 dropped on Netflix Wednesday, October 28.)
Chrishell, for her part, previously claimed that Blake used a racial slur and made other “extremely problematic” comments regarding her partner. She told Variety on Friday, October 31, that Blake once compared “people being nonbinary to mental illness,” noting that he was “being nice” during the chat, but that his comment was offensive.
At the time, Chrishell told the outlet that her issues with Blake “goes so much more than what you’re able to see on a show that they’re trying as hard as they can to keep it light and upbeat.”
However, she claimed via her Instagram Story on Tuesday that Blake’s “hateful posts on his IG Story against the LGBTQ community speak volumes on who to believe,” pointing to recent messages he’s shared since filming wrapped.
Chrishell then shared examples of why she doesn’t think Blake should be trusted, including a TikTok of him shoving Emma’s face into his crotch with the caption that read, “When your girl asks what’s for dinner.”

“But sure, believe this man if you want,” Chrishell wrote alongside the controversial video. “The internet will look for a way to fill its narrative about you so I’m [excited] to be done with all of this very soon.”
She proceeded to point out Blake’s alleged misogyny and offensive takes on women, minorities and different racial groups via her Instagram Stories.
“I’ll let his words speak for themselves since it is now my word against theirs,” Chrishell wrote alongside two of Blake’s past IG Stories in which he wondered, “Why do they have a fat Barbie?” after seeing a doll in the store.
Blake also pondered why there was a “cripple Barbie” before joking, “Next we’re gonna have Barbie with a beard.”
“Please use your best judgement here,” Chrishell asked her followers on Tuesday, sharing more racially charged posts Blake previously shared as well as negative uploads about the transgender community.
Before Chrishell clapped back at Emma and Blake on social media, Emma told Us that she hoped the three of them could “have a conversation” in the future and move forward.
“It’s one of those things with their personalities where they just will never see eye to eye. They are on two ends of the spectrum in the sense where she doesn’t appreciate certain things that he does and he doesn’t appreciate certain things that she does. Unfortunately, I am in the middle,” Emma said on Tuesday. “There was a point where I loved them both so much. My ideal situation is for my best friend and my boyfriend to love each other. It was the hardest on me because it was really difficult to watch. I didn’t want to make a choice because I really wanted it to work with both.”
