2025 may be winding down, but the major streamers are breaking out the powerhouse movies and TV shows in November.
Unsurprisingly, Netflix claimed two of the spots on our list with a blockbuster-worthy movie and the conclusion of a long-running series.
Hulu came to play with a buzzy legal drama, while HBO Max is debuting a new comedy and Disney+ is dropping the best Marvel movie of the year.

‘Frankenstein’ (2025)
Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein has been adapted so many times that it takes a special filmmaker to stand out from the pack. Enter Guillermo del Toro, the only man to win the Oscars for Best Director and Best Picture for a monster flick, The Shape of Water. In this version, Oscar Isaac portrays Baron Victor Frankenstein, the brilliant scientist who dares to play God.
Frankenstein’s genius brings life to a misshapen man known as the Creature (Jacob Elordi). Frankenstein may have stolen fire from the gods, but he can’t unmake his creation. The Creature has desires and needs of its own, and it will torment Frankenstein until it gets what it wants
Frankenstein will stream on Netflix on November 7.
‘Stranger Things’ Season 5
Nearly a decade since the first season, it’s the end of the road for Stranger Things. Netflix’s biggest breakout series is launching its fifth and final season in phases, and we can’t really call the Hawkins gang kids anymore, since they’re all young adults now.

Season 5 picks up in 1987, as Hawkins is joined at the hip to the Upside Down. Amid the chaos, the government is looking for Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), which forces her to go into hiding. But Eleven and the gang can’t hide for long. Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) is back, and Hawkins was just the beginning. He’s ready to unleash the Upside Down on the whole planet as his version of Hell on Earth.
Stranger Things season 5 volume 1 will stream on Netflix on November 26.
‘All’s Fair’ Season 1
All’s Fair is either going to be a train wreck or this year’s best campy legal drama. It’s hard to imagine much middle ground between that, since showrunner Ryan Murphy is giving Kim Kardashian her own series. Murphy has already done the smartest thing possible by surrounding the relatively inexperienced actress with veteran performers like Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson and Teyana Taylor.
Kardashian plays Allura Grant, the leader of a group of female divorce attorneys who walked out of their previous male-dominated firm to launch their own practice. But just because they’re on the same team, it doesn’t mean they’re on the same page. This is a cutthroat business, and Allura’s law firm has plenty of backstabbing and infighting of its own.
All’s Fair will stream on Hulu on November 4.

‘I Love LA’ Season 1
There are going to be inevitable comparisons between Girls and I Love LA, especially since Rachel Sennott pulls a Lena Dunham and created, cowrote, co-directed and stars in the latter. HBO hasn’t shared many story details about the show, but the focus is on a codependent group of friends trying to make it in Los Angeles.
The series chronicles how the once tight-knit group has changed, and they aren’t all the same people they were years ago. Sennott plays Maia, a creative talent manager who loves her boyfriend but is dissatisfied with their sex life. Rounding out the cast are Marty Supreme star Odessa A’zion as Tallulah, Jordan Firstman as Charlie, True Whitaker as Alani and Josh Hutcherson as Dylan.
I Love LA will stream on HBO Max on November 2.
‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ (2025)
It may have been a mistake to release The Fantastic Four: First Steps just a few weeks after Superman. The former was a little outgunned by the Man of Steel and fewer people saw it in theaters. Now that it’s coming to Disney+, lapsed Marvel fans should see that it’s one of the best MCU films in years.

The film takes place in its own retro futuristic timeline, as Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) guide and protect their world. But they finally encounter a foe they can’t beat when the Silver Surfer (Julia Garner) leads the devourer of worlds, Galactus (Ralph Ineson), to their doorstep.
