A fire destroyed a home in Norway on Monday night.
The fire broke out at the Summer Street home about 10:48 p.m., according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Just one person was home at the time of the fire and got out safely, Moss said Wednesday morning.
No one was injured in the blaze.
The fire destroyed the home.
Investigators have ruled the fire accidental and believe it was caused by “careless disposal of smoking materials,” according to Moss.
