In just a few days, Netflix and HBO Max are set to lose a few of the thrillers in their cinematic library.
This is all part of the normal churn for content-related streamers, but HBO Max subscribers will definitely miss two of those great thrillers when October comes to an end.

‘Law Abiding Citizen’ (2009)
Law Abiding Citizen follows Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a prosecutor with a perfect record for convictions — but only on his terms. To preserve his record, Nick strikes a deal with Clarence Darby (Christian Stolte) to let him largely escape the consequences of murder in exchange for his testimony.
That doesn’t sit well with Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler), the widowed husband and father of the women Darby killed. Clyde’s a CIA agent, and he’s going the full Taken to make sure that Darcy and Nick pay the price for what they did. Nick may not have murdered anyone, but in Clyde’s eyes, he’s just as guilty.
Law Abiding Citizen is streaming on Netflix until November 15.
‘The Silence of the Lambs’ (1991)
The Silence of the Lambs is arguably one of the greatest thrillers ever made, but good luck getting some movie lovers to see a 34-year-old film. Even the classics need to be reintroduced from time to time. But if you watch the entire film, you’ll never forget Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins). Among movie monsters, there are few scarier than this guy.

Lecter is an imprisoned serial killer who recognizes a pattern in the activities of another serial killer, Buffalo Bill (Ted Levine). To secure Lecter’s cooperation, the FBI sends a young agent, Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster). Lecter definitely appreciates Clarice, but he won’t really help her until he’s got enough info to get inside her head. And if Clarice can make it past her encounter with Lecter, she’ll still have to face Buffalo Bill on his own turf.

‘Seven’ (1995)
Seven is one of those movies where you may know the ending without ever having seen it. It has a famous cinematic twist that left audiences in shock three decades ago. Morgan Freeman leads the cast as William Somerset, a detective who is happy he’s retiring soon. Brad Pitt plays his new partner, David Mills, while Gwyneth Paltrow plays David’s wife, Tracy Mills.
David and William’s first case together is a waking nightmare, as they realize someone is using the seven deadly sins to systematically murder people whom he believes deserve their fate. The killer takes that philosophy to such a dangerous extreme that he sets a trap that he knows David won’t be able to resist.
