Prince Andrew Reportedly Demanded 2 Other Homes in Exchange for Move

Prince Andrew has reportedly asked for two other homes in exchange for moving out of Royal Lodge amid the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

The Sun was first to report that Andrew, 65, and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson are looking at two separate homes in Windsor, previously occupied by other members of the royal family.

Andrew has agreed to vacate Royal Lodge for Frogmore Cottage, which was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s previous home. Feguson, 66, is reportedly hoping to move into Adelaide Cottage after Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton move out.

“No one is really sure how it’s going to go down at the Palace yet,” a friend of Andrew and Ferguson told The Sun. “Andy is willing to leave, but these are his demands.”

The friend added that it’s “incredible” that Andrew and Ferguson are looking to separate their living arrangements. They were married for 10 years from 1986 to 1996 and continued to live together in Royal Lodge following their split.

Us Weekly has reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment.

Andrew’s living arrangements recently made headlines as more details about his past connection to the late billionaire sex trafficker Epstein have come to light.

Multiple outlets reported on Friday, October 24, that Andrew was in talks to move out of Royal Lodge. (Andrew held a lease with the property allowing him to live there until 2078.)

“Andrew is moving,” a source told royal expert Tom Sykes, according to his The Royalist Substack. “It’s a matter of when not if.”

Andrew’s friendship with Epstein was first revealed in 2019 when he was accused of having sexual relations with the late Virginia Giuffre in 2001 while she was underage. Andrew has continued to vehemently deny her accusations.

Giuffre sued Andrew for sexual abuse in 2021, and they settled outside of court the following year. She died by suicide at age 41 in April.

Earlier this month, further allegations were made about Andrew and Epstein in Giuffre’s posthumously released memoir, Nobody’s Girl.

“In the years since, I’ve thought a lot about how he behaved,” she wrote of Andrew, in part. “He was friendly enough, but still entitled — as if he believed having sex with me was his birthright.”

Buckingham Palace Will Have New Prince Andrew Allegations Fully Investigated

Days before the book’s release, Andrew announced his plans to give up his royal titles.

“In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” Andrew shared in a statement to Us Weekly on October 17. “I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.”

He added, “With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honors which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.”
