Anthony Edwards’ ex Ayesha Howard accused him of hiring private investigators and using drones to gain information about her, Us Weekly can exclusively report.

On Friday, October 17, Howard, 38, filed court documents detailing the Minnesota Timberwolves star’s alleged behavior.

Howard and Edwards, 24, are the parents of a daughter named Aubri, born in October 2023. Howard wants a California judge to determine child support, while Edwards argues that Georgia should be the state where the case is heard. A Los Angeles judge ruled in favor of Edwards but Howard is still fighting the decision.

In her new docs, Howard claimed that Edwards admitted in the case to “significant surveillance” of her home in California. (Edwards’ team argued that Howard did not live in California.)

“This behavior was carried out outside of the Court’s direction and permission. Although deeply concerning and intimidating, I understand the Court’s authority over certain matters of the law, so I have remained brief in discussing the stalking and invasion of privacy I’ve [experienced], as well as family and neighbors, experienced.”

Howard said, “The surveillance [Edwards] referenced involves not only the use of private investigators but also drone technology, deployed to monitor me, my family members, and individuals connected to me.”

She alleged that the surveillance has occurred both in California and Georgia. “Mr. Edwards is clearly willing to go to any lengths, including invading privacy, to instill fear and assert control through his money, power, and resources to achieve his desired outcome in this matter. Home security cameras captured these invasive methods hovering into windows, violating spaces where one should feel a fundamental sense of privacy and safety. I, along with related family members, have kept detailed records of these incidents,” Howard told the court.

In her filing, which was part of her effort to have child support established in California, Howard noted, “In light of Mr. Edwards’ confessions, I respectfully request a restraining order.” (Court records show Howard has not filed an official petition for a restraining order in Los Angeles Superior Court nor was she granted one.)

Howard continued, “The extent of the surveillance is psychotic. I’m ready to move on with my life and child!”

She also alleged that Edwards and his team made several misrepresentations about her in the legal battle, including that she worked at a strip club until she became pregnant with Aubri.

“In his attempts to undermine my California residency, [Edwards] falsely claimed that I was employed at Magic City, a strip club in Georgia, until I became pregnant in 2024,” she said. “However, I have submitted official documents from the Atlanta Police Department’s Licenses and Permits Unit, clearly showing the last date I held a permit for that establishment,” Howard claims she did not work at Magic City when she became pregnant.

“I must also point out that Mr. Edwards has fathered four children with four different women within just 14 months. That pattern of behavior does not align with someone who needs to be “trapped” into parenthood,” Howard said. “Rather, it highlights a consistent pattern of carelessness, irresponsibility, and recklessness in his sexual conduct.”

Howard told the court she was a “vulnerable woman who believed [her connection with Edwards] was genuine and deep enough to place my trust in him.”

“Unfortunately, I was mistaken,” Howard said.

As Us previously reported, Edwards told the court he had no intention of seeking custody or visitation with Aubri. He said the only thing that needed to be established was child support. The NBA star claimed that Howard wants child support set in California in hopes of scoring a higher amount than she would in Georgia.

Howard denied the claims and said she lived in California, despite Edwards not believing her.

The exes are headed to trial on November 24.
