Following in the footsteps of last year’s winner, Jennifer Goddard Mrs. Bangor 2024, Jessica Ashe has proudly brought the state title home to Bangor once again, earning the crown of Mrs. Maine 2026.
Ashe, who represented Bangor as Mrs. Bangor 2025, is a wife, mother and human resources professional dedicated to helping others both personally and professionally. Her platform, “Light in the Dark” focuses on supporting families who are navigating grief after significant loss, while also advocating for expanded bereavement leave policies across the state of Maine.
Her mission is deeply personal. Ashe tragically lost her oldest son Nicholas (18) in a car accident in 2020. Through her platform, she honors his memory by offering hope, compassion and advocacy to others experiencing loss. Proving that even in life’s darkest moments, there is light to be found.
