‘Cool World’ (1992)

The story follows Jack Deebs (Gabriel Byrne), a cartoonist who becomes trapped in a cartoon world of his own creation, where some “doodles” (cartoon people) are desperate to escape into the human realm. Kim Basinger plays Holli Would, one such doodle who discovers she can cross over by sleeping with a human, while Brad Pitt stars as the detective trying to stop her at all costs.

‘Fever Pitch’ (2005)
Inspired by the British soccer rom-com of the same name by Nick Hornby, this American remake stars Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore in a love story centered around America’s favorite pastime — baseball, or more specifically, the Boston Red Sox.
