
The FBI on Wednesday arrested a New York man in connection with the killing of a Massachusetts man in the Somerset County town of Palmyra in March.
Kareem Quattlebaum was arrested in the Bronx, New York, and will be held at Rikers Island pending an extradition hearing, according to Maine State Police, who did not state the specific charge against Quattlebaum.
In the early morning hours of March 12, Jaquan Humphries, 28, of Mattapan, Massachusetts, was shot and killed at a house where he had been living on Madawaska Road in Palmyra.
After an autopsy, his death was ruled a homicide.
