Once again I am flabbergasted about the goings-on in Washington, D.C. It’s hard to even wrap my head around such blatant abuse of power and misuse of funds when the Trump administration and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent plan to bail out Argentina’s economy with a whopping $20 billion. The purpose of this action is seen by many to be a way of benefitting wealthy fund managers and ones who are Bessent’s friends and allies.
This windfall to Argentina is going on at the same time when our government is shut down, federal workers are not getting paid and thousands have reportedly been fired. Meanwhile American farmers are struggling and to top it off, China is buying soybeans from Argentina instead of from U.S. farmers.
Our country is suffering and President Donald Trump and his family and friends are becoming richer and richer at the expense of taxpayers. It is incomprehensible and reprehensible.
