Tamra Judge is spilling the tea on a message she allegedly received after The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie Osefo, were arrested on fraud charges last week.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star, 58, claimed on the Tuesday, October 14, episode of her “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast that she received a DM from Wendy’s neighbor expressing doubts about Wendy and Eddie’s claims of a home burglary in April 2024.

“Her neighbor slid into my DM. [She said] basically, they all got notices on their front door or in their mailbox that there had been a burglary at Wendy and Eddie’s house. And instantly, the whole entire neighborhood was thinking, ‘This is insurance fraud,’” Judge said.

Judge added, “She goes, ‘We were all saying, “No way.”’ I don’t know if the area where they’re at is not known for burglaries, but she is on TV, so that’s a different level. But they all thought something was kind of shady about it.”

Us Weekly has reached out to Wendy’s representative for comment.

Wendy and Eddie, both 41, were indicted on charges including insurance fraud, conspiracy insurance fraud and false statement to police officer on Thursday, October 9, per documents obtained by Us Weekly.

They were booked in Westminster, Maryland, on Thursday, but released a day later after posting $50,000 bond each.

“Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Edward Osefo, are back home safely with their family and in good spirits,” a rep for the couple told Us in a statement on Friday, October 10. “They are grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans, and colleagues. The Osefos, alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court. At this time, they respectfully ask for privacy as they focus on their family and the legal process ahead.”

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office in Maryland said that the pair were arrested following an investigation into a reported burglary at their home in April 2024. According to the police department, Wendy and Eddie returned from vacation “to find that their home had been entered and numerous items had been stolen.” The couple reported 80 items of jewelry, luxury goods and clothing worth over $200,000 were stolen, said the police.

“During the investigation, detectives found that over $20,000 of the items reported stolen had been returned by the owners to the locations the items were purchased,” the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. “Further, detectives found images of a homeowner wearing jewelry that had been reported stolen after the burglary took place.”

On Tuesday, Wesleyan University confirmed that Wendy had resigned from her position as a professor at the institution following her arrest.

“Wendy Osefo is no longer an employee of Wesleyan University,” the college said in a statement to Us, confirming that she “resigned from her position.”

“Contrary to recent media reports, Dr. Wendy Osefo was not terminated from a faculty position at Wesleyan University. She formally submitted her letter of resignation prior to any public announcement made by the university,” Wendy’s rep said in a statement to Us on Tuesday. “Dr. Osefo made the voluntary decision to step down from her role. This decision was made independently and communicated directly to the university before any external reports surfaced.”
