Scott Wolf celebrated estranged wife Kelley Wolf on her 49th birthday amid their messy ongoing divorce battle.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, October 14, Wolf, 57, posted a tribute to Kelley, 49, sharing a photo of her smiling for the camera and a caption that read, “Happy birthday to you. 🎂❤️🩹.”
Fans of the Party of Five star took to the post’s comments section to praise Scott for his celebratory post. “Wonderful example of setting healthy boundaries while still loving someone. Great example for your children,” wrote one fan, while another added, “This is really sweet and a great example for your children. Hoping for healing and peace for all of you.”
Scott confirmed in June that he had filed for divorce after 21 years of marriage. The pair share three children: Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11.

“After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life, and filed for divorce from my wife Kelley,” Scott, 57, said in a statement to People on Wednesday, June 11. “Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.”
The former couple’s split has since been far from easy. Us Weekly confirmed later that month that Kelley had been detained by authorities and was hospitalized before being released. Scott was later granted a temporary restraining order against Kelley and awarded full physical custody of their children, as well as sole use and possession of their Utah family home.
Kelley subsequently posted accusations about Scott via her Instagram account, leading the actor to publicly address the “deeply disturbing and entirely false allegations” in an August statement shared with People.
“I am now choosing to come forward and share that she has described to me her plans to ‘make claims’ about me, although she also admitted, ‘I do not believe they’re true,’ in order to gain an advantage in what she sees as a ‘battle’ in court, and in the court of public opinion,” the statement read at the time. “In order to protect my kids, I am providing the text messages she sent to me where she describes this plan, so there are no questions about her intentions, or the malicious intent behind her false allegations made and/or planned for the future.”
The situation took a turn when Kelley was arrested later that month for electronic communication harassment and electronic disclosure of personal identifying information after allegedly sharing Scott’s phone number via social media.

One month later, Us confirmed that Kelley was charged with violating a protective order that prevented her from engaging in direct contact with Scott and the pair’s children. Court documents obtained on September 12 confirmed that Kelley was charged with a misdemeanor after allegedly using a “friend’s phone” to contact one of her sons “through a friend’s son.”
The charge resulted in a summons for Kelley to appear in court on Friday, November 7.
Kelley addressed the charge in a statement shared with People at the time. “I am utterly shocked [for] the unabating aggressive use of a legal system and possibly more,” the statement read. “[It] has become almost intolerable to my physical body, my family’s health and well-being period. I’m unclear as to how these things are allowed to be processed. I have [allegedly] been compliant with everything legal, I have said nothing disparaging about anyone at any time. I’d like to also state for anyone who doesn’t seem to understand — that divorce can take time. Anyone who continues to put pressure on a mother when all she’s doing is fighting for her children is somebody who needs to check themselves.”

The outlet also reported that Kelley entered a treatment center in September, however, Kelley shared via her Instagram Story on September 15 that she was “not in rehab.” Her Story also read, “I am in my home town waiting for a court hearing. I have no record. I do not abuse drugs or alcohol. I am a mother. Leave me alone.”
The post continued, “I have lost everything. I am malnourished. Treated like a crazy woman and I would appreciate someone saying … I love you. Welcome home. You did nothing but fight for your family.”
Scott, for his part, announced in an October 6 Instagram video that he would be returning to his Fox series Doc for season 2.
