Andy Cohen has weighed in on The Real House of Potomac’s Wendy Osefo and Eddie Osefo’s recent arrests.
“I want to say that like all of you, I found out about the charges against Wendy and Eddie Osefo on Friday morning and there’s not much that I can say,” Cohen, 57, said on the Monday, October 13, episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “I know nothing of the charges more than you guys do, than what I’ve read.”
The Real Housewives producer confessed, “I’m sad about this. I’m really sad about this and Wendy is just, you know, I’m a Wendy fan and she has been a great Housewife and a great role model.”
Cohen explained, “She’s always led with education and her solid family values, and so I’m really thinking about her and her family and I’m certainly hoping that this is all some big nothing.”

Us Weekly confirmed that Wendy, 41, and her husband, also 41, were indicted by a grand jury on Thursday, October 9, on charges of insurance fraud, conspiracy insurance fraud and false statement to a police officer.
Wendy and Eddie were booked in Westminster, Maryland, on Thursday, according to court records obtained by Us. They were released on Friday, October 10, after both posting $50,000.
“Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Edward Osefo, are back home safely with their family and in good spirits,” a rep for Wendy and Eddie told Us in a statement at the time. “They are grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans, and colleagues. The Osefos, alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court. At this time, they respectfully ask for privacy as they focus on their family and the legal process ahead.”

Wendy and Eddie’s arrests came after the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in April 2024 of an alleged burglary at their home, according to court docs. The couple claimed at the time that they came home from a trip to Jamaica to find their house ransacked with jewelry and several designer handbags stolen.
Eddie reportedly gave statements to two insurance companies regarding the list of stolen goods. Both Eddie and Wendy allegedly signed statements claiming $2,500 in damages for the building and $450,000 in property.
The couple’s first claim to Travelers Insurance was settled for $25,380 in April 2024, which included $4,500 for Wendy’s allegedly missing gold diamond anniversary band.
In a separate claim to Jewelers Mutual Insurance submitted that same month, Eddie and Wendy listed the gold anniversary band among 57 stolen items.
An investigation was conducted into the alleged burglary at Eddie and Wendy’s home in April 2024. Investigators determined that numerous items they claimed were stolen were actually purchased and returned to their respective stores for a full refund prior to the alleged home invasion.

Wendy was also allegedly seen wearing her reportedly stolen gold diamond anniversary ring on social media following the burglary.
Upon Wendy and Eddie’s arrests this month, police raided their home and investigators reportedly found at least 15 items previously reported stolen.
“[The] investigation revealed the Osefos to be burdened by substantial debt,” police noted in the report.
Wendy and Eddie have been married since August 2011 and share three children: sons Karter and Kruz and daughter Kamrynn. Wendy joined RHOP during season 5 in 2020.
