Anastasia “Stassie” Karanikolaou is keeping it real with fans, detailing her recovery process after going under the knife to reverse the results of her BBL surgery.
The influencer, 28, shared an update from the recovery center while healing from her “reduction,” revealing that she was feeling very relaxed and her appetite had returned.
“Eating chicken tenders and french fries … my pain medicine just kicked in so I’m pretty comfortable,” Karanikolaou shared via TikTok on Tuesday, October 7. “From what I’ve seen, this ass looks nice, lifted and smaller. I’m so excited to be healed and to feel more comfortable in my skin.”
Karanikolaou was resting in bed and surrounded by pillows, going on to thank fans for their supportive messages. She also addressed potential critics before they sounded off via social media, adding, “Be nice in the comments because I’m in pain and I’m just a girl.”
“See how vulnerable and open influencers are when people are NICE to them,” one person replied. “I think it’s nice when celebs are honest about their surgeries. Happy recovery!” another echoed, while a third added, “We need more content like this. Hope you feel better soon.”
Karanikolaou, best known for being Kylie Jenner’s best friend, spoke candidly about the work she had done on the debut episode of her new “Better Half” podcast in May.
The vlogger addressed the “No. 1 question” she’s received over the past decade of her life.
“What plastic surgery do I have, do I have ass implants, like, what’s the tea?” she explained.
“I think it’s not a secret or something that I can physically hide at this point,” she told cohost Alexis Fisher. “Yes, I have a BBL. I moved fat around to my butt.”
The podcaster, who has also been an open book about her boob job, admitted that she was influenced by a “trend” at the time and decided to go through with the Brazilian butt lift when she was younger.
“It is something that I regret and that I’ve been actively trying to fix for so long,” she confessed. “I literally have another surgery, like, in a few weeks to try and reduce the size of it even more.”
“I felt just the pressure of the world that we live in and the trend of the times,” Karanikolaou said in hindsight, telling listeners to proceed with caution. “Do not surgically alter your body for a trend at a time because just know that the trend is only going to be relevant for a little bit.”
She previously spoke out about embracing her natural appearance during a 2022 interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, discussing her lip filler and more.
“Do your research,” Karanikolaou advised. “I didn’t look good, I had to get it dissolved and redone.”
Karanikolaou said she had a change of heart when it came to her breast size as well.
“Over the past couple years, I’ve made my implants smaller, I’ve tried to make everything smaller because I just like the more natural look and I feel like you get caught up when you’re younger,” she explained. “You grow up, you change, you learn things, you see things differently.”
