Billy Corgan is whipping up a new speciality beverage for a good cause.
Corgan, 58, is teaming up with California-based luxury grocery store chain, Erewhon, to create a new spooky smoothie just in time for Halloween. Us Weekly has all the exclusive ingredient details, as well as where to purchase the drink, what it’ll cost you and more.
The smoothie’s name, OG Goth, is a nod to the legendary singer, songwriter and frontman of The Smashing Pumpkins.
“The OG Goth name is in tribute, and particularly to those great and pioneering gothic bands in L.A. who inspired me to be myself and trust in the kind of music I dreamed of making,” Corgan told Us on Tuesday, October 7. “As well as those that [are] born unique or have [been] overlooked or othered by a culture writ large and somehow together we find common cause and community in our own, self-created netherworld.”

The OG Goth, which costs $19.79, is available for purchase at all Erewhon locations from now until Saturday, November 8.

The smoothie contains MALK Organic Almond Milk, GT’s Alive Cola, Cocoyo Cacao, Eidon Ionic Minerals Liquid Electrolytes, organic coconut water, Erewhon Chocolate Ganache, organic black sesame butter, organic peanut butter, organic banana, organic avocado, organic dates, organic chia, organic maple, organic blue spirulina, organic chlorella, organic cacao powder, organic lucuma, organic beet juice and organic lion’s mane.
Proceeds from the sale of the smoothie will benefit the Concussion Legacy Foundation, a charity which is aimed at supporting athletes, veterans and others affected by concussions and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). The Concussion Legacy Foundation was founded in 2007 by Robert Cantu, MD, and Chris Nowinski, PhD, to “support athletes, veterans and all affected by concussions and CTE, to promote smarter sports and safer athletes through education and innovation and End CTE through prevention and research,”per the charity’s website. Alongside Boston University and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, CLF co-founded the world’s leading CTE brain bank, which has fueled groundbreaking discoveries about the long-term effects of repetitive head impacts.
This collaboration is another example of Erewhon’s limited-edition smoothie partnerships with celebrities. Some of the most popular past partnerships include Hailey Bieber’s “Strawberry Skin Glaze,” smoothie, Olivia Rodrigo’s “good 4 your GUTS,” smoothie, Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet” smoothie, Travis Scott’s “Storm Storm” smoothie and most recently Jasmine Tookes’ “The Golden Hour Glow,” smoothie.

While the cult grocery store chain is California-based, it was announced in early September that a mini version of the popular chain is coming to New York City — but perhaps not in the way customers expected.
Inside the upcoming Kith Ivy, a private paddle club created by Kith founder Ronnie Fieg, a mini Erewhon will serve juices and smoothies between 7 AM – 4 PM daily. The Kith Ivy has a steep membership fee of $36,000 initiation fee plus $7,000 annually. Nonmembers will also have an opportunity to indulge in one of the famed smoothies or juices by ordering through Uber Eats or Postmates within a certain vicinity of the Kith Ivy location, according to Eater.
