
AUGUSTA — On Sept. 9 Webster Center staff and local leaders from the City of Augusta, Kennebec County Commissioner’s Office and Summit Natural Gas of Maine came together to celebrate the completion of three major projects at the Webster Center, located on 34 Franklin St.
Through the use of ARPA funds, three projects that targeted critical infrastructure needs of the facility were completed and addressed the following: The replacement of up to 43 windows, excavation of the front of the building in order to replace a damaged sewer line and the replacement of old playground equipment with new playground equipment designed for children ages 5 and younger.
