I don’t live in Bangor, but as a fellow Mainer I care deeply about the kind of leadership we put forward across our state. It seems like the voice of the people has been lost with our current leadership and Maine is becoming unrecognizable. That’s why I believe Richard Ward is exactly the kind of city councilor Bangor needs.
I believe Richard’s priorities are practical and people-focused: restoring full-day, six-day bus service so workers and seniors aren’t left behind; funding warming stations and real support for the homeless, and ensuring tax dollars go toward essential services rather than wasted on ideologies.
Maine needs leaders who value common sense, compassion, and accountability. By electing Richard Ward, I believe Bangor has the chance to lead by example and help set Maine back on track to being the Vacationland we all know and love.
