One of President Donald Trump’s top allies lost a lawsuit against a man from Cape Elizabeth who was accused of making defamatory comments online.
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. failed to bring enough evidence against David Vickrey, who Kennedy accused of libel.
Kennedy claimed Vickrey, a retired businessman, made false claims on social media about Kennedy’s vaccine stances when he was running for president in 2024, according to the Portland Press Herald.
Vickrey, a progressive blogger, told the paper he was glad about the ruling, because he thought there was no merit to the case.
