George Clooney and Adam Sandler are raising the ultimate Swifties!
The actors revealed that their kids are eagerly awaiting the release of Taylor Swift’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl, on Friday, October 3.
“They’re in the back of the car going, ‘When are we getting the album?’” Clooney, 64, told Access Hollywood of his fraternal twins, Ella and Alexander, 8, at the Monday, September 29, premiere of their new movie, Jay Kelly, at the New York Film Festival.
George also shared that his kids — whom he shares with wife Amal Clooney, 47 — have yet to meet Swift despite being huge fans.

“No, no, we’ve been running around,” George explained. “It’s been our summer. Spent a lot of time with my family; my mom and dad and stuff.”
As for Sandler and wife Jackie’s two daughters, Sadie, 19, and Sunny, 16, the comedian told Access Hollywood that Swift’s new album is definitely a point of discussion in the Sandler household.
“Gonna be amazing,” Sandler, 59, predicted, going on to reveal that he recently met up with the pop star’s dad, Scott Swift, who presented him with a unique gift for his daughters.
Sandler said, “I had a stand-up show the other night and I saw Taylor’s dad. He gave me some guitar picks to give my kids and we discussed how excited we are for the new record.”
The Happy Gilmore 2 star went on to describe the Swifts as “good people.”
Sandler isn’t the only celebrity to be given some of Taylor’s coveted used guitar picks. Last year, Channing Tatum revealed that Scott, 73, gave him several guitar picks when he and now-ex Zoë Kravitz saw the singer perform on her sold-out Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London.
“Date night with TSwift. The love is real and Taylor is an absolute force!” Tatum, 45, wrote in an Instagram post alongside a selfie of him and Scott at the concert in which he could be seen holding several guitar picks. “Ha and got some guitar picks I’m gonna sell for charity from big daddy Swift himself. Legend he is.”
Taylor announced the release of The Life of a Showgirl, which marks her 12th studio album, back in August on fiancé Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.

“It was something that I was working on while I was in Europe on the Eras Tour. I just love it. I just love it a lot,” she said.
“This album is about what was going on behind-the-scenes in my inner life during this tour, which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant,” Taylor continued. “It comes from the most infectiously, joyful, wild, dramatic place I was in my life. So that effervescence has come through on this record. Like you said, bangers.”
The Grammy winner added, “This is the record I’ve been wanting to make for a very long time. … It’s just right.”
