In Us Weekly‘s exclusive clip from the Welcome to Plathville season finale, Veronica Peters has one final showdown with Micah Plath‘s mom, Kim Plath.
“I was 100 percent on your side up until this morning, when I found out you were calling me names behind my back,” Kim, 53, says to Micah’s now-ex in a preview from the upcoming Tuesday, September 30, finale. “I can’t do that.”
When Veronica tells Kim, “I don’t think I could let people in that I don’t trust,” Kim fires back in no uncertain terms.
“Then you’ll never have relationships,” she warns. “And that’s why — I just want you to see that’s why your relationship with this family failed. Because you didn’t let us in, not because we didn’t let you in.”
‘Welcome to Plathville’ Recap: Kim Calls Veronica a ‘Two-Faced Bitch’
Veronica insists that she did let the Plaths in, but Kim disagrees. When Veronica ultimately apologizes, Kim replies, “I appreciate the words. I don’t really believe it. Maybe it’s genuine and maybe it’s not, I don’t know.”
Kim goes on to tell Veronica that she’s “seen and heard enough” to decide she doesn’t “really want anything further to do with [her].” (The heated moment comes after Veronica’s tense conversation with Micah, 24, and his family members after Lydia Plath‘s wedding to Zac Wyse.)

In a confessional, Veronica looks back on her experience with the Plath family. “Maybe I did sabotage it at the end,” she admits. “Maybe I was so tired of this messed-up family and this toxic relationship that I said, ‘Add the catalyst.’ So what if I did?”
She continues, “As things progressed, I made up in my own mind that I couldn’t be with somebody that could treat me like that. … I was prolonging something that needed to happen long ago. If I could wish one thing, I wish it happened sooner.”
Although she thought being alone “was the worst thing” in life, Veronica reveals her perspective changed. “The worst thing is a toxic relationship where you lose love for yourself,” she says.
Despite the drama, Veronica adds, “I want people to know I did love [Micah].”
Welcome to Plathville’s Micah Plath and Veronica Peters’ Romance Timeline
Fans were introduced to Veronica on season 6 of Welcome to Plathville, which aired in 2024. Throughout season 7, tensions rose between Veronica and Micah’s siblings, leading to a physical confrontation between Micah and one of his brothers at Lydia’s wedding. Veronica confirmed the pair’s split in July.
“So, they did it. They broke me,” she said in an Instagram video, seemingly referring to her ex’s family.
She went on to note that the twosome called it quits after the “violent wedding,” with Veronica alleging there was “threats, violence and barbaric behavior” at the event. She claimed that she felt like she was “in danger several times.”
“I left the family at that point,” Veronica explained. “Done.”
One week before the finale, viewers saw Kim and Veronica exchange heated words — with Veronica admitting to calling Kim a “snake.”
“I really was giving her the benefit of the doubt and I was trying to be nice,” Kim said in a confessional during the September 23 episode. “But I’m sorry … somebody that’s nice to your face and calls you a snake behind your back? I’d say that’s a two-faced bitch.”
Welcome to Plathville airs on TLC Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
