Kenneth Adams, 40, of Union was sentenced on Monday to 10 years in federal prison for trafficking fentanyl and cocaine from New York City to the midcoast.
Adams pleaded guilty on Dec. 20, 2024.
From December 2023 through June 2024, Adams brought “kilogram quantities” of fentanyl and cocaine from sources in the Bronx to mid-level drug dealers in Knox County for distribution, according to court records cited by the U.S. Department of Justice in a news release.
Adams also had at least one gun in connection with this drug trafficking, the court found.
His prison sentence will be followed by eight years of supervised release, according to the Justice Department.
