Tweed is one fabric that somehow looks both sweet and polished, and that’s especially true when it comes to how Jessica Alba recently styled it. The actress and The Honest Company founder attended a Baby2Baby event, where she stunned in a preppy tweed mini. Her outfit inspired us to wander over to Amazon in search of a lookalike, and we quickly found it in the Floerns Plaid Tweed Dress.
The $41 find looks super similar to Alba’s dress. The sleeveless design features six buttons on the front as well as a scoop neckline, and mini-length pick flares out, just like Alba’s. While the Amazon alternative is available in black and white, you can also score it in pink, blue, lilac, ginger, white and mint colors. However, it’s the under-$50 price that’s truly hard to beat, especially compared to Alba’s Ganni tweed dress, which costs $475.
While you could wear the dress on its own, Alba’s look really stands out because of how it’s styled. The Honey star wore it with a white button-down shirt layered underneath, black tights and black loafers, adding ruffled socks to give it a school-inspired spin. The ensemble was sweet and professional all at once! At the event, Alba added a Baby2Baby sweatshirt, letting the white collar pop out and making the dress look like a tweed skirt. The layering trick proved the piece is super versatile and can be worn a variety of ways.

Floerns Plaid Tweed Dress is a newer Amazon addition, so it doesn’t have a ton of reviews (yet!). But so far, buyers appreciate that the fabric isn’t scratchy and that the design is fashion-forward.
