Two people have been charged with the murder of a three-year-old girl who was found dead in 2023.
Emergency services were called to a property in Hayes, west London, at 6.09pm on 17 December following reports of a child being found dead, the Metropolitan Police said.
The child was identified as Penelope Chandrie, whose death has remained under investigation.
On Thursday, two people were arrested and later charged with her murder, the force said.
Manpreet Jatana, 34, and Jaskiret Singh Uppal, 36, both of Pennine Way, Hayes, are due to appear before Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
