Firefighters battled a blaze at a Bangor home early Friday morning.
The fire broke out about 3 a.m. at the home on Prentiss Street, according to the Bangor Fire Department.
Crews quickly contained the flames.
Despite early reports of people trapped inside the home, firefighters found no one inside. No one was injured during the blaze.
The Maine fire marshal’s office investigated the fire, which isn’t considered suspicious.
Prentiss Street connects Division and Jefferson streets, near Kenduskeag Avenue.
