Sylvester Stallone is loving life as a Florida man.
“I love it,” Stallone recently told Fox News of his and wife Jennifer Flavin’s move from Los Angeles to the Sunshine State in 2024.
“First of all, the air seems to always be clean. We’re very, very near the water and that makes my wife incredibly happy. It makes me happy, and it’s just something about it. It’s just so lush,” the Rocky actor added.
He continued, “I went to college there for a couple of years. So, I’m not a stranger to the environment, but it fits my personality much better.”

Stallone, 79, and Flavin, 57, left California for Florida nearly two years ago, as documented on the second season of their Paramount+ reality show, The Family Stallone.
In February 2024, Flavin told Us Weekly the move was “100 percent” the right choice for her and Stallone after their three daughters — Sophia, 29, Sistine, 27, and Scarlet, 23 — left the family home on the West Coast. (Stallone also shares son Seargeoh, 46, with ex-wife Sasha Czack. The former couple’s eldest son, Sage, died in 2012 at age 36.)
“I think it was the best decision for Sly and I because all the girls now live on the East Coast, and we want to be close to them, but they don’t want to be too close to us all the time,” Flavin said. “And it’s nice because we sold the house that they grew up in, and that was a big change. But I like this new adventure. I love change.”
Stallone added to Us, “When the children leave, it’s not the same place anymore. It’s a different kind of vibe. And you go, ‘Wow, why don’t we do something for us? Why don’t we do something that we may find adventurous and kind of spark us to new adventures and push the envelope?’ Because after a while, you have the same thing. Go to the same restaurant, same friends, and I go, ‘I’d like to feel [excited] going there.’ That’s exactly what happened.”

The husband and wife duo now reside in Palm Beach, Florida, where they have an estate with their own private beach, according to Veranda magazine. The couple’s mansion also boasts a screening room, gym and pool, while Stallone also turned one of the hallways into his own personal art gallery. The actor said he often switches out the artwork on display in the hallway.
“I consider it like a wardrobe. You can only wear the same shirt so many times before you go, ‘God, I’d like to see if this other color works [with it].’ With art, you can take a piece that you’ve become … maybe not blasé about, but you’re not exactly overwhelmed by it anymore,” the Oscar nominee explained. “You move that piece to another room — now you’re invigorated! It’s like furniture: messing around, moving it around, constantly restimulating our minds.”
