Brittany Mahomes is just a girl.
Mahomes, 30, took to Instagram on Wednesday, September 24, to get real about wearing a chic — but uncomfortable — hairdo at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Giants game on Sunday, September 21.
In a series of photos, she showed off a voluminous ponytail courtesy of hairstylist Laurabeth Cabott, featuring a teased crown and voluminous curled ends. The style was complete with strands strategically left out and curled.
While she looked stunning with the updo, Mahomes got real about the tresses hurting her head and ended up taking the extensions out and neatly putting them away in her red floral purse.

After taking the mane out, Mahomes showed off her bouncy curls, which she flipped to one side of her head.
“Funday Sunday🤍,” Brittany, who was cheering on husband Patrick Mahomes at the game, captioned the post. “Pony made it till halftime🤣 anyone else always take their hair out the second they get the urge?”
Cabott praised Brittany’s before and after look in the comments section, writing, “And the hair still delivered!! You are a goddess I can’t handle ittttt!”

Brittany teamed her flawless mane with a full beat, thanks to makeup artist Bex Pichelmann. Her glam was complete with long lashes, rosy cheeks, pink lips and filled-in eyebrows.
The rest of her look featured a white Saint Laurent tank top with red embroidery and a crisp zip-up jacket and coordinating pants. She elevated her outfit with diamond rings and a Van Cleef necklace, as well as red sneakers.
