Below Deck‘s Kyle Stillie wasn’t joking about making a transition to OnlyFans.

During Us Weekly‘s Below Deck cover story, Kyle offered an update on what he has been up to since filming season 12, sharing, “I’m also studying in my own time — level three sports massage therapy. So it’s just studying on your own time. That’s what I’m up to at the moment and then obviously the OnlyFans thing.”

Kyle clarified that he was “not even” joking about making the switch.

“That ties back into looking at myself from an outside perspective. If I can monetize the character of Kyle Stillie — that Scottish guy online — and keep my sanity and my friends know who I am, I’m not bothered about [it],” he explained. “[It] obviously bothered [me] a little bit about the narrative — whether it be on social media or online — about who I am.”

Why Was There ‘Below Deck’ Drama After Kyle Slept With a Married Guest?

The deckhand is hoping to take back the narrative, adding, “But people are always going to say and judge. I’ve had my d*** out on TV for free, so why not try and monetize it? I’ve got no shame. I would get my d*** out for free for some people. It’s not really a far-fetched idea to try and make some money off it.”

After being introduced in season 11, Kyle returned to work for Captain Kerry in season 12 of Below Deck. This time around though, Kyle was at the center of the drama following a rumor he himself spread about hooking up with charter guest Helen Hoey.

Kyle walked it back once word got back to Kerry, but the damage was already done. Since the show aired earlier this summer, Kyle has continued to poke fun at the assumption that he got intimate with Helen when cameras weren’t filming.

“Since filming, I’ve changed. I’ve changed things. I’ll never say I’ll stop drinking but I’m aware that the habits that I have and the way that I used alcohol. I’m just far more aware,” Kyle told Us about watching his behavior back. “I don’t think I’ve ever [had] a problem. I would hate to get to 40 years old and somebody sits me down and goes, ‘Mate pull your neck in.’ So it’s just kind of giving me that point of reference where I’m not a f***ing idiot. So it’s just given me that foresight to be like, ‘You’re never going to get to that place.’”

‘Below Deck’ Stars Who Made OnlyFans Accounts Since Their Time on the Show

Despite enjoying his time in yachting, he doesn’t have plans to continue on that professional path, adding, “If I was 21, fresh-eyed and bushy tailed, I would be chasing it. But I think the nature of the business and whatnot is — not that you have to drink and party — but there’s a lot of that.”

He continued: “I don’t think if I ever did Below Deck, I would have ever tied into the thinking that I had a problem. It’s just made me a bit more aware of my daily actions and what I do to my body — whether that be abuse it or whether that be how I think towards myself — that’s what it’s given me. More so than kind of my relationships with other people.”
