A Hermon man was arrested Monday evening after he allegedly violated a protection order.
Timothy Pendleton, 44, has been charged with violation of a protective order, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, and domestic violence terrorizing, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
Pendleton was at his partner’s home in Hermon about 5:52 p.m. and allegedly destroyed property. The partner has obtained a protection order, which had not yet been served.
But when deputies arrived to serve the papers to Pendleton, he allegedly refused to accept them, leave the home or surrender to police.
He was arrested and taken to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor, where he was released on bail.
