‘Need for Speed’ (2014)
Following the end of Breaking Bad, Aaron Paul was given the chance to star in Need for Speed, an action crime thriller loosely inspired by the hit video game franchise. Paul plays Tobey Marshall, a formerly law-abiding race car driver whose rivalry with Dino Brewster (Dominic Cooper) leads to the former being framed for the death of his best friend.
Upon his release from prison, Tobey is looking for some payback against Dino. He finds an ally in Julia Maddon (Imogen Poots), a rare car broker who accompanies him on a trip to enter a prestigious race. Dino will do almost anything to prevent Tobey from getting there alive, and he should be worried, because Tobey feels his revenge is morally justified.

Molly Parker headlines Doc as Amy Larsen, a talented doctor who is chief of internal medicine at Westside Hospital. Amy’s life is changed forever when she’s in a car accident that leaves her unable to remember the last eight years of her life.

Upon awakening, Amy finds her relationships with her ex-husband, Dr. Michael Hamda (Omar Metwally), and her current lover, Dr. Jake Heller (Jon Ecker), difficult to navigate without her memories. Amy’s lost so much that the only thing she can cling to is the idea of earning the right to be a doctor again. It isn’t going to be easy, because Amy made plenty of enemies on the hospital staff before suffering her injury.

‘Futurama’ (1999 – 2003, 2008 – 2013, 2023 – Present)
Fox, Comedy Central and time itself have tried to cancel Futurama, but this sci-fi animated comedy never stays dead for more than a decade at a time. The Simpsons creator Matt Groening co-created Futurama with David X. Cohen, and it’s nothing like the former series. In many ways, it’s even funnier than the show that set the tone for it.
Season 13 continues the misadventures of Philip J. Fry (Billy West) 1,000 years in the future with the love of his life, Leela (Katey Sagal), his best friend, Bender (John DiMaggio), and the rest of the Planet Express crew. The stories largely stand alone, but the creative team behind this series always seems to find a way to mock current events by mirroring them in the future.
