PORTLAND — Spinnaker Trust is pleased to welcome Forrest Hamilton as an investment analyst. Hamilton will also serve as a member of the firm’s investment committee.
Hamilton brings a wide range of experience in equity research, macroeconomic research, and equity compensation consulting to the Spinnaker Trust Investment Research team. Prior to joining Spinnaker, he served as a senior associate at RBC Capital Markets, where he covered the U.S. Large Cap Banking Sector. He began his career at Independent Stock Plan Advisors before moving to F.L. Putnam Investment Management Company.

At Spinnaker Hamilton will work alongside the investment committee in managing client portfolios and contributing to asset allocation and security selection decisions. He will also conduct comprehensive macroeconomic research, monitor sectors and market trends and evaluate individual equities through advanced valuation models.
Hamilton holds a B.S. from Bates College and currently resides in Portland. As a former collegiate athlete, he remains active outdoors and enjoys running, skiing and exploring Casco Bay.
