Todd Chrisley got involved with son Chase Chrisley’s health issues after his prison release.
“I don’t know exactly what’s going on with Chase,” Todd, 56, said during the Tuesday, September 16, episode of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality. “For about four years, Chase has had stomach issues. When I saw him, I thought my heart was going to break because I realized how thin he was.”
Todd said he’s been “on top of” his son’s health ever since coming home from prison.
“[It’s] the point where Chase is irritated right now. ‘I’m 30 years old, I don’t need my dad going to the doctor with me,’” Todd said, recalling a conversation he had with Chase. “I said, ‘Clearly you do, because you still have not gotten to the bottom of it.’”

Chase’s mom, Julie Chrisley, added, “Whatever’s going on, I just want Chase to be healthy. I want him to be mentally in a good headspace. I want the best for him, as I do all my kids.”
Chase, 29, initially discussed his health struggles on an episode of the Lifetime docuseries that aired September 9.
“Within the last year, I’ve lost a lot of weight,” Chase said. “My body is just, like, rejecting food. Something’s going on. It sucks. I mean, it’s absolutely miserable.”
Chase noted that his “health has gone to s***” during lunch with his business partner Cary Purcell. “I don’t know if it’s just everything I’ve done catching up to me or stress,” he added.

“In regards to Chase’s health, it’s progressively gotten worse,” Chase’s girlfriend, Jodi Fournerat, said in the same episode. “He ultimately cannot keep a meal — even sometimes water — down. I’ve been trying to change his diet, but like the stubborn Chase that he is, he refuses to think that will help.”
Todd previously discussed his son’s health during a phone call from prison. (Todd and Julie were pardoned by President Donald Trump in May after spending 28 months in prison. Tuesday’s episode was their first in-person appearance on the docuseries after being released.)
“I don’t know exactly what’s going on with Chase,” he said during the September 9 episode. “For about four years, Chase has had stomach issues. He’d eat and he’d be in the bathroom or he’d be throwing up. And that seems to have gotten much worse since I left. He’s lost 15 pounds.”
He continued, “I don’t understand, he goes, ‘Maybe I don’t wanna know if something is really wrong.’ And I said, ‘Do you know how stupid that sounds?’ I said, ‘You find out what’s wrong and you get it fixed and you go on with your life.’ We are going to get to the bottom of it, I assure you.”
