Todd Chrisley says he hasn’t really spent that much time with son Chase Chrisley’s girlfriend, Jodi Laine Fournerat.
“Chase, I want him to have a wonderful, beautiful personal life with a relationship that feeds his soul,” Todd, 56, said during The Chrisleys: Back to Reality season finale on Tuesday, September 16. “Someone that’s going to be a wonderful mother and wife. Someone I like, because that’s important.”
He added, “Can you imagine being married to someone that I just don’t give a f*** about? I have an ability to be around someone for 10 minutes and know if it’s someone I want to spend 10 more minutes with.”
Todd told viewers that he doesn’t really know Jodi following his release from prison.

“There’s been really no interaction between us and Jodi,” he explained.
Chase, 29, went public with Jodi in November 2023, months after calling off his engagement to ex-fiancée Emmy Medder.
The Lifetime docuseries, which premiered earlier this month, offered fans an inside look into Chase’s relationship with Jodi. One episode even featured Chase discussing a possible proposal with mom Julie Chrisley.

“Just because I am in prison does not mean that my job as a mother stops,” Julie said in a phone call from prison. “Yes, it is very much limited as to what I can do. But I am still, at my core, a mother to these children.”
She explained, “When he told me that he wanted to marry Jodi, I was not thrilled. I don’t know her. So, I can’t be on board with my son marrying someone that I don’t even know.”
Chase disagreed with his mom. (Todd and Julie spent 28 months in prison before being released this past May following a pardon from President Donald Trump.)

“My mom doesn’t want me to rush anything. She wants me to take my time, but it’s been over two years. So, I don’t feel like I’m rushing anything,” he said. “I think a lot of it’s coming from that, my mom doesn’t want to miss out on it. But there’s nothing we can do about it right now.”
Savannah Chrisley was also against Chase proposing to Jodi, telling Nanny Faye during a separate episode that she would “object” to their wedding.
“He doesn’t even have his life together. He lives with his grandparents,” Savannah, 28, said, referring to Julie’s parents Pam and Harvey Hughes. “So, you’re supposed to get married and live with your grandparents? It’s the dumbest s*** I’ve ever heard.”
