Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM channel, Radio Andy, is celebrating a major milestone this September.
Long before celebrities flocked to the podcast world, Cohen, 57, teamed up with SiriusXM on a project that eventually turned into a radio empire.
Day after day, listeners turn on Radio Andy for celebrity interviews, unique conversations and a rotating cast of authentic voices, including Jeff Lewis, Tinx, Sandra Bernhard and Dorinda Medley.
While each show has its own unique voice and story, every host has countless memories of unpredictable moments that can only happen on the radio.

In celebration of Radio Andy’s 10th anniversary, Us Weekly asked the hosts to share their biggest OMG moment when they were recording their show. What came next was a slew of candid — and hilarious — answers that prove to Us that anything can happen on Radio Andy.
Andy Cohen
“We have had so many memorable interviews and shocking live moments,” Cohen revealed, “but I think broadcasting from my Housewives baby shower was pretty epic.”
In January 2019, dozens of Real Housewives from across the country traveled to Bruce Bozzi Jr.’s The Palm Beverly Hills restaurant for a celebration in honor of Cohen’s son, Ben.
While the party was unforgettable, the Watch What Happens Live host said the best part about Radio Andy is “giving jobs to people I love!”
Jeff Lewis
While Lewis, 55, prides himself on being live and uncensored, he never expected one unforgettable moment to happen on his show.
“When we were reporting on Sonja Morgan walking out on her bill at Tucci in New York City, the owner of the restaurant, Max Tucci, unexpectedly called into the show to give his side of the story,” he recalled. “Live on the air.”
Lucky for Lewis, he’s able to handle any twists and turns during his live radio show with ease.
“They’re afraid to give me any guardrails,” he joked, “because they know I’ll do exactly the opposite.”
Sandra Bernhard
“Without a doubt, when Paris Hilton was on Andy’s show, and I arrived early for ‘Sandyland,’ Andy beckoned me in and I sat and had a completely delightful chat with a woman I had made assumptions about for years,” Bernhard recalled. “She couldn’t have been sweeter, more charming and bright.”
Each Thursday, listeners can take a trip to “Sandyland,” where Bernard talks with celebrity guests and chats about her latest life happenings. When asked about the best part of Radio Andy, the comedian praised “the unbridled, uncensored nature of it all.”
“No one has ever stepped in and said a word to me about anything I’ve said, blurted out or just went for, and that is a luxury money can’t buy,” she said. “That and the immediacy of live radio is a dream. Fun, smart people letting you do your thing — nothing better in the world!”
Bevy Smith
“My biggest OMG moment was interviewing the iconic singer/provocateur Grace Jones,” Smith recalled to Us. “In the interview, Grace told me Lady Gaga had no soul, like literally devoid of a soul. She also said Kim Kardashian stole her style for Kim’s infamous Paper Magazine cover and uncorked and drank red wine the entire interview. Afterwards, when it was time to take photos, Grace did military style pushups and groped my behind and I DID NOT object.”
According to Smith, the best part about Radio Andy is when she’s able to have a mashup show with another host.
“Sandy and I used to do annual holiday shows,” she recalled. “I love appearing on Andy’s show, and I look forward to being a guest on Smith Sisters Live, maybe with my very own sister.”
Kiki Monique
“There are so many amazing moments from the show, but I think one of the biggest OMG moments on Radio Andy recently was when actress Janet Hubert came on ‘Reality Checked’ and spilled the tea on her legal dust up with The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore and a pilot they worked on together!” Monique shared. “It was quite the piping hot tea! They say all roads lead to Bravo, and this was further proof.”
Every show, Monique is grateful to say she feels like the Radio Andy family has her back.
“When you’re in the business of entertainment, sometimes you become the news yourself, and it’s nice to know there is a built-in army of support,” she said.
Smith Sisters
“Our show is live, so you really never know what’s going to happen, but the biggest OMG moment has to be when we were talking about a celebrity cheating scandal,” Lauren, Rachel and Mariah Smith told Us. “As we were chatting, one of our listeners called in with a bombshell revelation: she witnessed the cheaters creeping in public before they went public! We were speechless.”
When they are not taking a detail-obsessed deep dive into the day’s biggest pop culture news, the Smith Sisters are expressing gratitude at the opportunity to do what they love.
“The best part about being part of the Radio Andy family is getting to share our obsessions with the world and finding a large community of sisters (our listeners) who share our interest and are down to obsess with us,” the trio explained. “Not to mention, being able to text about reality TV with the king of reality TV, Andy Cohen, feels like we won the pop culture lottery.”
Tinx
“Someone getting engaged on air was such an OMG moment!” Tinx recalled. “It meant the world that my listeners wanted to share that special moment with me and our community.”
Listeners come to Tinx for her expert guidance — and to have a great laugh at the same time.
“The best part about being part of the Radio Andy family is everything!” she shared. “I still pinch myself every time I say, ‘Exclusively on Radio Andy!’ I feel so lucky to have my dream job on my dream channel. Andy forever!”
Dorinda Medley
“The biggest OMG moment was when I first heard myself on the radio and realized what my voice sounded like as I had no idea and realizing how much I rambled,” the former Real Housewives of New York City star shared with Us.
While she may want to “clip” her voice at times, Medley is grateful every day to have the opportunity to speak to loyal listeners on SiriusXM.
“The best part of being part of the Radio Andy family is hearing the promos about Radio Andy and feeling so honored that I am still part of Andy Cohen’s world and all the incredible people I get to meet at Sirius,” she added.
