Denise Richards’ estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, fired back at her claims of domestic violence and shared alleged photo evidence to defend himself, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
Phypers, 53, filed his response to Richards’ claims that he was physically abusive during their marriage on Monday, September 15. He wrote, “There is no need for such orders, as I have not abused her and will not abuse her.”
“I have not abused her, will not abuse her and she has been calling me and messaging me frequently,” he said.
Phypers included a photo of a smashed cell phone he claimed Richards caused in early July.
Phypers also claimed Richards, 54, has prevented him from earning income, “so she is the only one with income.”
“She should support me,” he said. “I believe that this entire domestic violence proceeding is merely a ruse to try to cut me off from being able to obtain spousal support.”

Phypers said he will prove Richards’ claims are false and said she has been “calling me through my phone and my father’s phone,” asking him to call her. “It should be considered harassment, demonstrating that she is not afraid of me and that she is the aggressive one.”
He attached screenshots of alleged calls Richards made to him. Phypers attached a photo of an AirTag, an Apple device used for tracking, he believes Richards left in his car.

In addition, he noted the recent incident where he called police after she showed up to the home they once shared to grab belongings.
Phypers also denied stealing her laptop or phone. He admitted to taking photos of a computer screen of certain messages.
He continued, “The other images she claims that I took from her computer and/or phone are actually pictures that I took myself and to which I hold the copyrights, so there was no need for me to obtain them from her. I was the primary photographer for her OnlyFans account, so I took many professional photographs of her and I hold the copyrights to all of the pictures that I took.”
He added, “Denise has extremely messy living habits, so it is not a surprise when she cannot find things. I did offer to help her look for these items, but she did not have me assist her in that search. We have multiple computers, but the computer in question was not taken by me nor by anyone acting on my behalf.”
Phypers attached an alleged text Richards sent him on August 18. “Why are you doing this to me?” she asked. “I’ve gone down this road. When this is all over. Ask yourself, why are you doing this? And to me? I’ve been so good to you, your family & your business. The threats, the stories in the press, the betrayal. Money for your family to stay? I wish you would’ve been honest when they got here. When all of this is over and we have all moved on to new loves & others on to new clients & new cases this is what you will remember. Why did this have to go down this way….”
The judge has yet to rule.

As Us previously reported, Richards was granted a temporary restraining order after claiming Phypers was abusive.
In her petition, she wrote, “Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack, threaten to kill me, hold me down with his knee on my back to the point where I would have to plead with him to get off me so that he would not kill me and hack into my laptop and phone and download all of my text messages.”
Phypers adamantly denied the claims. He previously told Us, “These accusations are completely false and deeply hurtful. Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue. I have always tried to approach our marriage with love, patience, and respect. I ask for privacy as we navigate personal matters, and I hope that the public and media will refrain from spreading harmful and baseless claims.”
