Kelley Wolf has been charged with violating a protective order that states she cannot have direct contact with estranged husband Scott Wolf or their three children.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Friday, September 12, Kelley, 48, was charged with a misdemeanor for allegedly violating the protective order issued by the court last month. Kelley, who shares children Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11, with Scott, was barred from “direct or indirect contact” with them.
The docs claimed that Kelley violated the order when she allegedly used “a friend’s phone” in an attempt to contact one of her sons “through a friend’s son.” A summons for Kelley to appear in court was also ordered for November 7.
“I am utterly shocked [for] the unabating aggressive use of a legal system and possibly more,” Kelley exclusively told People in a Friday statement. “[It] has become almost intolerable to my physical body, my family’s health and well-being period. I’m unclear as to how these things are allowed to be processed. I have [allegedly] been compliant with everything legal, I have said nothing disparaging about anyone at any time. I’d like to also state for anyone who doesn’t seem to understand — that divorce can take time. Anyone who continues to put pressure on a mother when all she’s doing is fighting for her children is somebody who needs to check themselves.”

Scott, 57, filed for divorce from Kelley in June after 21 years of marriage. Their split turned tumultuous when Kelley was seemingly detained by police after she made “concerning” comments amid her separation from Scott.
The actor broke his silence in August, denying Kelley’s “deeply disturbing and entirely false allegations” against him.
“I am now choosing to come forward and share that she has described to me her plans to ‘make claims’ about me, although she also admitted, ‘I do not believe they’re true,’ in order to gain an advantage in what she sees as a ‘battle’ in court, and in the court of public opinion,” Scott said in a statement to People. “In order to protect my kids, I am providing the text messages she sent to me where she describes this plan, so there are no questions about her intentions, or the malicious intent behind her false allegations made and/or planned for the future.”
Us previously reported that Scott was granted “temporary sole physical custody” of their children. However, the pair continue to share legal custody, per docs obtained by Us in August. They agreed to follow a parenting plan created by Scott. The court also ruled that Kelley could communicate with her and Scott’s children via “three supervised call/video calls per week.” She could also respond to messages if her children initiated contact.
Last month, Kelley was arrested for electronic communication harassment and electronic disclosure of personal identifying information. In a September hearing, Kelley told a judge that she planned to seek treatment amid her legal trouble.

“I have informed everyone that needs to know, I will be attending a [treatment center] starting on September 12,” she said per docs obtained by People. “This is what was asked of me by both Bart Johnson and Scott Wolf now for six months — all I wanted to do was leave a marriage. I am excited to go to [the treatment center]. I’m looking forward to it. My brother is taking me. It’s fantastic. It’s a great place. I recommended it all the time as a mental health professional myself, so September 12, I will be there for a month. I hope that helps.”
People reported on Tuesday, September 9, that Kelley checked out of the facility earlier and was staying in a hotel.
