Sebasticook Valley Federal Credit Union recently celebrated five long-standing employees, who together have contributed 85 years of service to the credit union. The recognition dinner was held on July 23 at Mainely Brews in Waterville as part of Sebasticook Valley FCU’s annual Employee Recognition Program, which began in 2007.
This year’s honorees included:

- Shannon Young, lead receptionist, Pittsfield call center: 15 years

At the event, team members received a framed certificate recognizing their service.

Together, they’ve helped strengthen our credit union, our communities and the lives of the people we serve. We’re happy to have had this opportunity to recognize their accomplishments.”
In addition to their daily contributions to member services, the honorees have been actively involved in community initiatives, including the Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger. Team members are actively involved in fundraising efforts and other activities throughout the year, from annual holiday fundraisers to new events like a recent paintball tournament.
