Prince Harry has officially reunited with his father, King Charles III.
Harry, 40, was seen at Charles’ London residence, Clarence House, on Wednesday, September 10. Photos and video footage shared via social media showed Harry and Charles, 76, arriving to the home separately.
Wednesday marks the first time the father and son have seen each other since February 2024, when Harry visited the king after his cancer diagnosis.
Further details have yet to be released just yet. Us Weekly has reached out to Harry and Charles’ teams for comment.
When Was the Last Time Prince Harry Saw King Charles III?
Speculation about a face-to-face meeting between Harry and Charles has been swirling for months amid the royal family feud. (Members of Harry and Charles’ team met in July for what multiple outlets reported was a set up for Wednesday’s reunion. However, Us Weekly understands Harry’s chief communications officer was in London for routine meetings.)

Royal historian Marlene Koenig speculated in Us Weekly’s cover story last week that the meeting would be “private” and “likely” to be on Charles’ terms.
“Charles does want to meet Harry,” a royal source told Us. “He doesn’t want this falling-out to overshadow his legacy. But Harry has caused chaos and hurt, so it’s complicated.”
The same royal insider noted that the public is “ultimately” hoping for Harry and Charles to “make amends.”
Royal watchers have also questioned what this meeting means for Harry’s relationship with his brother, Prince William. The royal source explained that the Prince of Wales is “neutral but wary” of the meeting between Harry and Charles. (Harry and William have been attending various events around London this week, but did not cross paths.)

Harry arrived in the U.K. on Monday, September 8, for a planned appearance at the WellChild Awards. This was the Duke of Sussex’s first return home after losing his appeal for government-funded security in May, and reigniting the royal family feud with a BBC interview.
“I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore,” Harry said at the time. “Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has.”
The royal insider told Us that a Harry and Charles’ face-to-face would mark “the first tentative steps of a reconciliation.” The source also called this a “make-or-break” meeting for the father and son.
“If it goes well, it could lead to other family members being open to better relationships,” they added. “If things get leaked negatively, then it’s done, and there’s no chance [for peace].”
