Authorities are searching for two juvenile boys in connection with a criminal threatening incident in Bowdoinham.
The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office said the criminal threatening incident happened near Post Road around 7:15 a.m. Friday.
One of the boys was wearing all black with a hood on and a face mask, and the other boy was wearing a gray sweatshirt with a face mask.
They were last seen near 91 Post Road. It is unknown where they are headed.
A third suspect is in custody.
MSAD 75 Superintendent Heidi O’Leary said Bowdoinham Community School is in lockdown at the request of the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office.
“The school remains in lockdown. I am currently in the building with our staff, and we have 14 students from our before-care program with us. I can confirm that everyone is safe and following all instructions from law enforcement. We will continue to follow all safety protocols until the situation is resolved,” O’Leary said.
Bowdoinham Community School is canceled for Friday.
