Fresh Off the Boat child star Trevor Larcom has addressed speculation that he took Ozempic to lose 130 pounds.
Larcom, 21, took to TikTok on Wednesday, September 3, to share a screenshot of a People magazine article about his weight loss, along with a screen recording of the article’s comments section.
“Well, boys and girls, I officially made it. I was on People magazine for losing weight, but it gets better. Hold on,” Larcom, who is known for his role as Trent Masterson in Fresh Off the Boat, said before switching over to the comments.
He continued, “So, obviously, I’m curious to see what people are saying in the comments, so I click the comments. And this gets even better. I got accused of being on Ozempic and I got accused of being on [steroids]. So I got my first ‘roid accusation, not my first Ozempic accusation, but I got two accusations too.”

In the caption, Larcom added, “WE HAVE OFFICIALLY MADE IT!”
Larcom has documented his weight-loss journey on social media in recent months, posting progress photos and sharing how he transformed his body.
“Swipe twice to gain 130 lbs 
,” he captioned a June Instagram post, sharing two post–weight loss mirror selfies and a throwback photo of himself holding an alligator.
Later that month, Larcom took to his page with a video titled, “How I lost 130 pounds and changed my life.”
“I always struggled with food. I overate. I always ate the wrong things. I loved sugary sodas, things like that. Everything that’s not good for your body that would make someone overweight,” he explained. “I turned 18 and saw 300 lbs. on the scale and I wanted to make a big change. A change that was substantial, a change that would last me the rest of my life.”
Larcom said he asked a friend who was in shape for advice, and he recommended going on a calorie deficit diet.
“So, that’s what I started to do. I tracked everything that I ate. I looked at all the macronutrients of each food. If you don’t know what that is, it’s like your protein, your calories, your sugar, everything that goes into what is in a food that benefits your body. So I lost the weight in a little bit over one year. By the time I turned 19 years old, I was at 170 pounds,” the actor continued. “But nowadays what my life looks like is, I go to the gym six times a week and I track every single thing that I eat — still to this day. … That’s the biggest key for me. That’s the biggest thing that helped me lose the weight.”

On Monday, September 1, Larcom shared a compilation video via TikTok that featured a throwback video of his younger self and several clips of his current self. “I wonder if I’ll be cool when I grow up,” text over the throwback clip read.
