Letter: Bangor City Council needs to tolerate debate, disagreement

Well now the Bangor city councilors just reinforced the long time rumors of how messed up they are. Councilor Joe Leonard was ordered removed from a recent council meeting by the chair apparently because she just couldn’t handle the meeting.

The council is a place that should be able to tolerate debate and citizens that sometimes do get carried away with their comments. Believe me, having served on the Brewer City Council for 24 years, I’ve seen it all.
