A Hermon man allegedly showed up with a gun at his girlfriend’s home Thursday after she sought a protection from abuse order.
Jorge Malone, 27, has been charged with domestic violence stalking and domestic violence terrorizing, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
Malone allegedly went to his girlfriend’s Hermon home about 2 p.m., and he could be seen on her camera system “visibly armed with a handgun,” the sheriff’s office said Friday morning.
Deputies deployed a drone that showed Malone in her backyard and still armed, according to the sheriff’s office.
With help from a state police tactical team, deputies arrested Malone without incident.
He was taken to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor, where he remained Friday morning.
The sheriff’s office said that Malone has been served with a protection from abuse order and weapons restriction paperwork.
