Meghan Markle made sure Prince Harry’s milestone birthday came with an extra personal touch.
Meghan, 44, opened about the custom gift she made for Harry while celebrating him turning 40 in September 2024, during season 2, episode 7 of her Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan.
While packing for a girls’ trip to Malibu, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that she treated her husband to personalized hats with a special message.
During the episode, she shared her favorite tips and tricks, including bringing a silk pillow case that she later uses as a laundry bag, and layering fabric softener sheets between clothes to keep them smelling fresh. When she was done with her clothes, Meghan moved onto her favorite part of packing: accessories.

“Now we get into the things that bring me joy,” she said. “I always have a baseball cap,” she said, holding up a black design featuring “PH 40” embroidered in white thread.
“I made these for my husband’s 40th birthday,” she beamed. “For him and his friends.”
She added, “For a jog it’s nice to have a cap in the morning.”
Meghan also “always” packs photos of her family wherever she goes. She gushed that on her last girls’ trip, her friends praised her sentimental item for being “so sweet.”
While filming season 2 of her reality show, Meghan showed off her luxurious wardrobe, which included everything from designer outfits to Princess Diana’s Love bracelet.

In one scene, she wore a Carolina Herrera striped shirt dress, which retails for $1,990, while she baked in her kitchen. She teamed it with a gold Cartier Tank Française watch, which goes for $23,800, and a Cartier gold Love bracelet, which retails at $7,350.
Elsewhere in the season, she looked chic and sophisticated in a navy blue striped Veronica Beard dress ($470), featuring a V-neck, thin straps and an A-line midi skirt, which she teamed with diamond accessories including a pendant necklace and stud earrings.
Season 2 of With Love, Meghan was released on Netflix on Tuesday, August 26.
