The father of Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown has been arrested in Las Vegas and accused of stabbing another man, according to multiple reports.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that 57-year-old Quenton Marcelles Brown was arrested and charged with attempted murder following a stabbing that was reported on Wednesday evening, according to the Las Vegas Review Journal.
Police responded to a call and found “a male suffering from several stab wounds,” the department said in a statement, as reported by NBC News.
The victim was taken to the hospital after the stabbing and Quenton Brown was arrested Thursday morning, according to ESPN.
Jaylen Brown was drafted by the Celtics in 2016 and helped lead the team to an NBA championship in 2024, when he was named NBA Finals MVP.
