Offset’s upcoming solo album, Kiari, includes some insight about his divorce from ex Cardi B.
The Migos rapper, 33, revealed that Kiari’s closing track, “Move On,” is about the end of his relationship with Cardi, 32.
“It’s about moving on, like, peacefully,” Offset explained in a recent interview with the Associated Press. “That’s what the message is supposed to be, moving on peacefully.”
Cardi filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024 after seven years of marriage. She previously filed for divorce in 2020, but the duo reconciled and welcomed two more children. The former couple share three kids: daughters Kulture, 7, and Blossom, 11 months, and son Wave, 3.

While Cardi has been vocal about her issues with Offset since their split, he told the AP that their relationship now is “all love” and “peace.” He chose to close Kiari with “Move On” to “end that chapter” of his life.
“Because it’s like, just move on. It’s over and done with,” he added. “It was great while it lasted. You know what I mean? That shouldn’t be the topic for neither one of us no more. It’s a book that’s closed.”
Fans have not yet heard the lyrics to “Move On,” as Kiari doesn’t drop until Friday, August 22.
Cardi, meanwhile, is gearing up to share new music of her own, with her long-awaited second album, Am I the Drama?, set to release on September 19.

Earlier this year, Cardi accused her estranged husband of harassing her amid their split and sending revenge porn to her new boyfriend.
“This guy is upset that I sent his girlfriend text messages of him begging me, saying he was going to take away his life, saying he was going to take away my life,” Cardi said in a March 29 X Spaces conversation, alleging that Offset had threatened murder-suicide as a result of their split. “All that s***, he was mad.”
She added, “Mind you, [Offset] sent text messages to somebody I was dealing with of videos of me and him having sex. That’s the kind of s*** that I was dealing with for the past two months.”
While she didn’t identify her boyfriend, Cardi has been linked to NFL player Stefon Diggs since early this year.
Offset did not publicly comment on her claims at the time, but days later, he wrote via Instagram that he was “happy” for his ex.
