It was first made popular in The Lizzie McGuire Movie, starring Hilary Duff whose character was bullied by the so-called popular girl for wearing the same dress twice. In a recent Instagram post, the actress shared a carousel of herself wearing a long, pink satin dress on several occassions. She playfully captioned the post, “Hilary Duff you’re an outfit repeater.” Instead of grabbing her expensive pick, we’re opting for this affordable cowl neck option that looks just as elegant and stunning.

Duff styled her summer-friendly spaghetti-strap dress multiple ways — once with simple tan boots, another time with neutral heeled sandals, a chunky cardigan and a woven bag and lastly with flat black sandals and a brown blazer. Basically, she’s saying that this simple maxi dress can be worn a million different ways. So, don’t be afraid to play around with your style!
